I have a 2008 V6 SE.

For some reason the past 3 months my engine has been sputtering really really bad. I thought to myself, maybe I need a tune up. So I go and by new spark plugs and wires, and a new coil pack. Then randomly the car takes 15 seconds to start and the startup is really weak. So I say okay that’s weird.

Then I buy a new battery, once I buy the new battery the car still took 15 seconds to start. Now I wake up and the care doesn’t start nor do any accessories work, no lights period. Is it the alternator or something else ?

I had a similar problem where the car would crank but most of the time it would take quite awhile to actually start. Replacing my fuel pump seemed to do the trick. Try turning the key to the run position and listen for the hum of the fuel pump in your back seat and for the click of the fuse to engage.
