Last night I hit a curve really hard blowing out my passenger side front tire. In process, my driverside side airbag decided to go off. so, now i have blown tire and half torned off seat.

I called couple junk yard and managed to get hold of used seats with airbag intact. Can i just take this part and take it to the dealer so i can have airbag system reset? or is this somthing dealers will have a big problem about. thanks for your help.

oh btw, i have 2004 tiburon I-4

You know...I *THINK* with a side air bag you can have it reset...I've not had one come in with just that blown so I'm not sure. I'll look it up. I know with seat belt pre-tensioners they will allow for, 5 I think to be cleared before it has to be replaced.

Well your going to have to go to the dealership to have the air bag light cleared anyway so just call them or go by there and see what they say before you do anything.
