I'd honestly be surprised if that's a separate component you can just replace on its own. I'd think it's part of the whole unibody assembly.
It is a separate part, at least for 03-06 (but would assume 07+ also). I've ordered it before, and installed it. While the original is spot-welded on, I secured mine via body panel adhesive (since I had 0 experience welding at the time). Unfortunately, I have forgotten what it was called but I got it from a dealer in 2016. Probably headlight support or something like that.I'd honestly be surprised if that's a separate component you can just replace on its own. I'd think it's part of the whole unibody assembly.
Yeah that's kinda what it's looking like. Maybe I'll try and see if it even comes off...I'd honestly be surprised if that's a separate component you can just replace on its own. I'd think it's part of the whole unibody assembly.
Nice, yea 03 to 07 should be the the same partIt is a separate part, at least for 03-06 (but would assume 07+ also). I've ordered it before, and installed it. Edit: here's when I did that: My 3D-printed Lip Kit.
Fair, yeah mine is just a little bent and warped, so it seats my hood a little higher, I just figured replacing the part would look betterDepending on why you want it, I have straightened those out with C-clamps, rope, comealong and a tree. It is hidden, so close is good enough for me.
For all the welds to drill out to remove the bent part, then weld/bolt in a new part AND get better alignment is a lot of work. I believe the rubber bumpers either on the hood or the bent part can screw in/out to adjust hood height when closed.Fair, yeah mine is just a little bent and warped, so it seats my hood a little higher, I just figured replacing the part would look better
