I just installed my rear sway bar. Yea it works great but when I went to pull the rear passenger tire off I ran into a bit of a problem.

After removing all of the lug nuts, yes I check all of them, the tire will not budge. I hit it with a rubber mallot, I put a piece of wood behind the tire and wacked that. The thing will not move. Can anyone suggest how to remove this rim from the car? I don't want to deal with this on the side of a road incase I get a flat.

Any suggestions?

I'm just wondering but ... did you install the rear sway bar without removing the wheels? When I installed my Progress bar the instructions specifically said to remove the wheels/tires before removing the stock sway bar. I'd start out by undoing whatever you just did, specifically, I'd unbolt the rear sway and see if you can pull the tire off then ... not that it /should/ make a difference.

Failing that, blast some PB Blaster or other penetrating lube onto the lugs from behind and up front and see if that loosens things up at all.
