Not sure if specifically for tranny replacement, but there are some around for clutch replacement, which would give you most if not all of what you need since most people remove the tranny completely to replace the clutch anyway.

There is some debate on whether it's easier to remove part(s) of the subframe and do it from below or to pull the engine and tranny as a unit out the top. I've never done it myself so I can't comment on either method.

I've done a transmission job both ways. It is far easier to pull both engine and trans out the top together if you have an engine hoist. I managed to do the whole job solo without any assistance. If you don't have an engine hoist, your only option is to drop the subframe to drop the trans out the bottom. You need two people to wrestle the transmission into the car from underneath and honestly it's quite dangerous. Not recommended unless it's your only option.

Have to agree if you don't have the hoist get one I learned the hard way on that one. P.s i got an extra 6 speed transmission I can let go of pretty cheap in San Antonio if needed
