So I see this a lot out there. People doing LED conversations on their Tibs. But it doesn't make sense. The back of the Tiburons headlight housings have a solid, screw in place, plastic disc.

You can't for an LED bulb with a fan in there as you wouldn't be able to get the cap back on. The fan would sick almost an inch past where the disc would be.

Leaving the disc off means you can't get water in your engine bay, as it would get inside the headlight housing. Same with bugs and debris.

I have a set of HID bulbs in right now. With a good cut in the back of each disc for the wires to feed through, and a molded rubber grommet to keep it sealed. Those for inside like normal bulbs.

So how the heck is ANYONE doing LED installs?

Yeah, that's a path I'd rather not go down. I'm still looking around to see if there are any that would actually fit. I could also modify the dust caps with a sort of extended "hat", that would allow the extra length of the LED backend/fan, while keeping the headlight sealed properly.
