Just bought a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT. I knew it had a misfire problem but for $100 ill take my chance at fixing it. So the misfire only happens when the gas pedal is pushed over half way down. I haven't checked codes yet on it when it does pop a check engine light since I just got it yesterday. The last owner said he changed the spark plugs and it went away for a couple days but then came right back. I've read about arching in the ignition coils or changing the coil pack or even the fuel injectors. Any ideas of where I could start? It idles a little rough but its definitely not terrible.

Also check the condition of the crank sensor. They tend to melt with high miles. Fyi...only use OEM sensors. Auto parts store ones are garbage.
