Nu7s's 2006 Moonlit Blue Coupé (Elektra)

Introduction
——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
As some of you will know from my other thread I sold my 2002 Ebony Black Coupé and bought a 2006 Moonlit Blue.
I won't be going nuts on this one and will keep it fairly stock, but there are alot of small things that just need to be done and what better place to show them off then here...

I bought the car on April the 6th with 60.000km and brought her home on the 16th. It was completely stock apart from the in-mirror GPS, low spoiler and rear parking sensors, wich all had problems...

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
After leaving my '02 at the car dealer, I drove her home thinking about all the fantastic mods I could do.

I'll see if I can make an exception.. And be sure to speak english, the mods here don't like it if they can't read it.

Nice tib bud, very clean, you thinking about adding some rims?
Not for now (money), but I am thinking about lowering it, painting the calipers red and plasti-dipping the rims so it looks a bit less stock. The tires are new, so it would be a shame to kick them off so soon. Also, the ride-comfort has increased dramatically between my previous car so i'm not sure at all...

You're in luck! I did some small stuff today:

Just a little "before" shot:

First things first: A good wash!

There is a LOT of some sticky resin on the car:

I got some off by claying it, but need to invest more time.

Let's get those ugly emblems off!

Ewww, glue.

Much better!

There was a lot of "clouding" after removing the emblems:

But fixed that with some "meguiars scratch x":

Sooo much better!

These wipers did not wipe at all:

These Bosch ones do, even if they are ugly as hell...

The trunks next.

"Tuscani" hatch plates by FFF.

Lol, who wants stock tire valve covers?

Not me, no more running low for me.

Maybe a small change, but makes a big difference for me..

Lot's more to come in the future when I find the time. I hope you enjoyed these for now!

Got a few more things done today:

Chrome dipped front turn signals

Short antenna.
I had this one laying around, I bought a long time ago. I think I bought it from Diode Dynamics.

LED (bada) dome lights.

Tuscani door lights
I transfered these from my old car to the new so I don't have any before pictures.

KDM metallic pedal set.

Fire extinguisher.

Tablet.
I'll be posting more pictures in a seperate thread.

Mr Handsfree Spy
GPS speed trap notifier.

Tuscani steering wheel emblem

That's the best color Tib, of course I'm biased ;)

I really like the clear corner headlights and the tablet install

It was a nice day today, so I decided it was time to do some more "work" on the car.

Chrome door handles
I bought the "dark blue" one's on eBay, but they are not 100% color correct. I looked into transfering the chrome handle to my other insert, but the risk in breaking the pins is too high. I've mounted them now and I'm pretty happy with the result. If you don't know it's not 100% accurate, you probably won't notice. Sorry, no better pics for now.

Color matching the foglights
I ordered some blue tint with another ordered and decided to give it a shot. It's cheap tint foil so it was a pain to put on and very hard to get the rounded edges to stick, but I'm happy with the end result. It matches the Moonlit Blue very good.
