I have an Injen cai, the filter seemed overly oily, but I ran it anyway, I am having a slight problem at light throttle openings, seems like a lean condition, a slight hesitation, stumble, I am wondering if any body has had an issue with this, what kind of problems does a oily maf cause?:3_confuse

CRC MAF cleaner spray FTW!

If it is a dirty MAF sensor, I'm surprised you didn't get a CEL...

Also, clean and lightly re-oil that filter.

^^^ While oil on the MAF is rare, it does happen. Like was already mentioned, used a cleaner designed specifically for MAF sensors (not something harsh like carb cleaner) to clean the MAF and then clean and re-oil the filter. Good luck.

I cleaned the MAF and changed the filter to an Amsoil air filter, presto no more problems!

Yep. My Q Tip adventure cost me 200 bucks and an embarassing trip to the Hyundai parts counter.

Just say no to Q Tips.
