lol, True! But you do save by getting it all at once.

Flush on one side and slightly concave on the other due to the poly shrinking slightly while curing. It has no effect on the performance of the mount. Now, is the poly flush with the ring area, or does it have a slight concave on both sides? Or are they not symmetrical? I'm having a hard time deciding based on pics. thanks!
Not yet, I am still trying to get a hold of a set to make a mold from. I will keep you posted on my progress though.Hey, do you have any of the I4 5 speed tranny mounts done?
Thanks for the feedback! Dont forget to ship your old ones back for the core refund.Just want to say I have installed Cye's poly mounts and they are wicked. The front went on perfectly and took about 5 minutes to install (I had my car on the lift though, so that made it easy). The back mount was a bit tougher. The stock mounts are so soft that you can actually move around the metal sleeve that the large bolt runs through. The stiff poly mounts are unable to move at all, so lining up the bolt holes was hard. Because the mount had to flex and the sleeve could not move, I had to use ratchet tie down cable (the kind you use in the bed of a pick up to secure loads) to install it. I hooked one side of the tie down to the subframe and the other hook to the mount. I started ratcheting away and slowly but surely the mount began to slide over a little and all the bolt holes lined up. I hope all that made sense. If it didn't, when I go back to the shop I'll take a picture or two of what I mean. Now, when I rev up my motor it doesn't even flinch. Seriously, no movement at all and the vibration at idle is IMO negligible. My GF said she didn't notice a difference and if she is happy, I am happy. These mounts also increased traction in second gear and deepen the in cabin exhaust note.
These are a great buy for the price. Even a bone stock tiburon would benefit from these mounts. I'm recommending them to all my Tib friends!
Price may go up $10-$15. Depending on my cost of materials/demand. But will not go any higher than that.looks like a pretty good price
If there is some wiggle room on that rear priceWhat do you say guys? Do I get your blessings to continue?
You would have been better off with solid rear and poly front.
There will be as soon as I can make another mold. Its cheaper for me to do them in pairs. If there is some wiggle room on that rear price
I say solid rear just to make sure that you're not going to hit the firewall. My stock rear mount was broken and my TB kept hitting the firewall. I didn't notice for a while. I'm sure that it's not terribly likely to happen wih a poly but I decided to go full solid because at the time it was easier for me to come by and I wanted to make sure there was no movement at all. I will have my rear mount welded to beef it up.I appreciate your ASSumption but you would have to have had experience with both scenarios to actually have some relevance to the situation...
I'd rather have a poly in the rear because of the design of the mount and how it is designed to break apart...I'd rather have some flexible material in there instead of a solid billet material...I have had a extremely awesome traction experience with just the solid front and i can only assume that adding a poly to the rear will only solidify my results...
