The black plastic casings behind the door handles & the central Fascia in my interior are quite deformed.. There is a thick slimy layer of rubber/clay like texture forming on them as if they're melted, i got the car a month ago like that. I tried to scratch that layer off with a screw driver & it comes off like thick clay. i tried to sand it off but its too thick.. Anyone else experience with in his tib? any chemicals cud use 2 clean of that flith?

after removing bits of it i could see the white plastic on the central fascia.

You can try putting some everclear on a rag and rub that stuff off? Or if you can find it use this product called Goo Gone. Stuff is awesome! GL~
