Satelite radio antenna...Where & How?

It was a PIA. I had mine mounted on the roof, but to get there I took the headliner and A Pillars off. Not a single wire in sight. Run the wire up the A Pillar across the roof the and out. It looks really good just time consuming and for some damn reason I broke 2 of those plastic clips on the molding. IMO it looks and works the best for reception as well, but I must warn you. Where the antenna was the paint started to fade away, so that is something to think about before putting on your roof as I did. Remember sand and what not can get under there like a bra and cause issues. With mine I would take it off and clean under there every time I would wash my car, but it still faded and got scratched. I have seen people put it on their dash and it worked pretty well

I have my XM antenna on the front dash on the very left corner as to not be an eyesore. I get perfect reception. There is absolutely no need for it to be on the outside of the car like the directions say.

I decided to use the same spot for my antenna. It's on the rear shelf in the back window. It works great there. I just used some velcro to hold it in place. The antenna is so much smaller than my old one...lol. like 1/20th the size . Thanks for the suggestions guys!
