Embarrassingly, I'm close 40k on my 07 6-speed SE, and I still haven't done the slave cylinder mod. I'm tired the clutch being so inconsistent, so I really want to get this done.

Removing the spring and plate seems straightforward. Bleeding the clutch is what worries me.

Researching the best way to bleed a clutch, I found the following video on YouTube:


Would this method work for our car? The technique uses a new oil can filled with break fluid with flex hose on the end to push the air out the system from the bottom up.

This method seems to avoid having someone pump the peddle and constantly close and open the bleed screw.

Any thoughts on technique? What diameter flex hose would I need?

Pretty cool... That'd be worth trying.... messure the nipple to size what size of hose you need

im sure it works but did you see the amount of brake fluid spilled out from the hose. not for me brake fuild eats paint and my trans just got painted
