Does anyone know what brand of snow tires are best for the stock 17" rims?

There are no "best" snow tires.

But anyway, if someone asked me which tire I would buy, I would probably choose among Pirelli, Continental, Hankook, Toyo, Kumho and Falken.

Bridgestone Bilzzak's! I have always used them and they are simpily the best around. I'm in illinois where we just got hit prety hard with a nasty snow storm. Had no problem in the snow. Their a little pricy, but totally worth the cost.

dunlop graspic ds2. no problems. theyre all gonna be pricey, but these are the cheapest i found and they work awesome.
