what does it mean when you're sparkplug has got engine oil on it, just helped my friend w/ his, changed the plugs and cleaned the 2 chambers in which there was oil?, any ideas, cars running fine now, i told him maybe it's from pressing the gas while the car is off?

Depending on what motor, it could be simply a leaking valve cover gasket.

It means there are spark plug foulings. It is actually an anormal, but very common mistake.

I'm a 10 year probe tech. Its most likely the valve cover gaskets, which is a very common problem with the kl motor. You can try retorqing the valve cover bolts before replacing the gasket.

Spark plugs don't grow oil. It is either coming from the valvetrain, leaking through the gaskets and puddling in the plug wells or its from the valve seals. If you know its not vc gasket, run a compression check.

Check valve cover gaskets and spark plug tube seals.
