OK, This is for the guys that are looking for info about the available SC setups for the V6 engines. All information is "factual and unbiased" and I would like to keep it that way. Please no opinions on who likes what more and why. This is just to give fair information, not to bash or a vs. thread. If anyone would like to correct me or have me add something please let me know.

Alpine Developments does not sell these kits anymore. If a site offers to sell one new, you will not recieve anything. Buyer Beware!

Alpine Developments- These guys were really the first on the scene with roots type sc setups for the V6 Tiburons. They use Eaton mp62 blowers and come in 3 stages. They have the most history and equipment on Tiburons. Also only kit available that is CARB legal at the current moment.

*******Stage 0- Our entry-level supercharger system is an affordable way to get more performance from your vehicle, and can be easily upgraded to our Stage 1 or 2 in the future. Designed as a simple bolt-on, this kit requires no additional engine modifications. Performance is improved up to 38 WHP (wheel horsepower), taking the stock vehicle from 143WHP to 181WHP. This is achieved with 4lbs.of boost, and does not require any additional fuel modifications.

Well seeing how this is the Supercharge Thread. Got a question.. Details on my car. Its 06 V6. Have header,CAI,Exhaust,NGM Throttle Body.stage 3 clutch/flywheel.Well im going to be ordering my NGM Stage 3 supercharger kit in a month or so. What else should I get aswell so I can add to the list?

Get an oil catch can to prevent oil blow back so you don't mess up your core in your manifold..other than that you are pretty much set. Since you already got I/H/E. The stage 3 sniper pretty much comes with everything you need.

A supercharger system can be put on an auto or manual. If you have a V6, then you have the option of going with the Alpine, Sniper, or Assassin. Research each carefully & wisely, though, for pro's and cons.

i want the ripp kit so badly. im savin up for it. right now i have I/H/E, catch can and weapon r torque dampener. i plan on gettin the stage 1 for starters and then maybe workin my way up. my ? is is what else should i get, i fiqure a clutch and flywheel but wut else. i have heard that these kits are somewhat unreliable but that was a while ago so i dunno.

In the For Sale section. If you search the forum, you'll find that Alpine is, how do you say, not quite doing so well, or selling kits. So find an alpine used, or pony up the cash for an NGM system. I picked up a used Alpine, but really wanted a Sniper.
