I am swapping throttle bodies and I was wondering if the orientation of the mechanism underneath the TPS on the throttlebody makes a difference. It is grooved but can go either way. I don't have time to give both a try just yet but thought I would see if anyone has a picture I could reference (or a diagram from a shop manual, etc)

I'm talking about the thing with the two tabs underneath that single phillips head screw.

Thanks in advance for the help. Next time I do an install I'm going to take pictures so that I can put things back the way I found them.

hey nice! did you get the old screw off? haha. Anyways, put it the same way as the old TB had it, which I believe that is.

Sadly, I'm not sure exactly which way it was on there as it is keyed but technically it will sit like that or "upside down"

Well, your picture looks goofy - like you did a 180 degree horizontal flip in the software or something - like you're looking at it in a mirror or something...

But otherwise, the orientation/position of the mechanism is correct there.
