You have to be seriously careful when buying these cars salvaged. When these Tiburons get into a wreck, the frame seems like it just folds up and you have to replace the entire thing. I just got finished repairing a 2005 Tiburon GT. At first it only looked like some minor exterior body repair, but turned into a new engine cradle and suspension. Tiburons are not the best in surviving an accident.

mine worked out to be like 70% of the value, my insurance co said they would go up to 75%.
was around $12500 in damages, they valued the car at over $17000.
