I have stock wheels and am not sure what sort of polish to use. I bough the turtle wax chrome wheel stuff, but am not sure if this is correct for my wheels...I have that speckeled grey metel. I included a pic. Is this what I should be using?

treat it as paint. so clean it, clay it, applicator pad with paint polish, then wax.

I just wax them one in awhile. Return the chrome wheel stuff and pick up some wheel cleaner instead.

Do not use wheel polish or rim cleaners. Stock rims are painted with the same paint as your car - treat it the same way.

One application of a wheel cleaner to get the majority of the bad brake dust isn't going to hurt it. Plus I believe they use a slightly different clear to seal wheels than they do the paint.

Anything pH neutral like P21s Wheel Cleaner or Chem Guys Sticky Citrus Wheel Gel is going to be fine to use any time, every time.
