With the oil filter for the i4 fit the v6? I know thats an odd question, but I found this but its for the v6:

2003 Hyundai Tiburon
Engine Oil Cooler
Brand: Flexalite

FLEXALITE-OIL COOLER SANDWICH ADAPTER KIT - Allows A Pressurized Mounting Point For Oil Cooler Lines Without Relocating The Oil Filter, Oil Filter Mount Adapter Thread Size 20mm x 1.5", Thickness 1", O-Ring 2 1/2"

Are the oil filters for the v6 and i4 the same threading?

All the Hyundai oil filters are exactly the same unless you have the 3.3L V6 or the 3.8L V6. Everything prior to that was the same.

the v6 filter fits the 4cyl, so i assume it works in reverse at least coupling wise, the problem could be how far out the filter sticks

the v6 filter is stubbier than the i4s
