Ok, for all you folks out there who's Tib came with the CD / Tape Player package...does your tape player actually work? Would you even know? Have you EVER put a tape in it? Who even has tapes anymore? I apologize......it was a bit of a boring day and this thought hit me while looking at my radio today at a stoplight. I have never used mine, probably never will.

I had my stock HU for a month, and no, never used the tape player. My parents Sonata has the same headunit, and I dont believe they've used the tape player either.

I've used it. It works. How and why you may ask? I actually used it with a tape adapter to an MP3 player. I need to get a deck that plays MP3s dammit...

I actually have a lot of old punk rock on cassette that you just can't buy on CD, so I use my tape deck semi-regularly. It works, and pretty darned well at that.

I use the tape adapter for mp3s as well and it will cut out if i hit a big bump on the road or something. However for $10 it works pretty damn good. I have never used the cd player though

It works... I used a tape transducer for my ipod for a while...until the tape got stuck in there... I bought another head unit off of the F/S forums for $20. :)
lol, i had the same problem - ended up buying my brother's flip-out DVD player for 30 bucks, yeah...it was quite a bargain.

i like others here used to use it for the adapter for my ipod, but i found out that the sound quality is much better on a burned cd. my 360 just died under warrenty so best buy is giving me a $450 gift certificate... hello new h/u :3_winkthu
