Has any one raised there redline with an S/C? I wanted to raise mine to 7k for a little more HP without adding more boost. If any one has any supporting modds needed?

Thanks

does anyone at all know? there has to be some one.

Unfortunately for the autos raising the redline does not work. THe car will still shift at the old redline
How do you do it on a manual? Is it an ECU reflash?

I think my revlimiter is 7k at the moment. I hit it a few times in my exhaust vid when I was idling in neutral. :)

Again, a ecu flash would do nothing to the auto unless you are in neutral. The transmission on autos has a seperate controler. TC at NGM is working on one.
Thanks Photoman If you find out when TC gets it done let me know.

its already on one car, im expecting it any day really, they have had it on and testing for about a month now, the major slow down was the guy blew his tranny right after they put it on ... no fault of the TCM, his tranny was shot from havin been turbo'd with so much hp and track/dyno runs, but he should have a new tranny now, so it should be out soon

i think i have a rare case...

2 years ago these 2 tuners from korea came to Sydney and tuned this Twin Turbo Tiburon that had around 350whp and they said if i paid around $400 they will do like a base tune and increase the rev limiter to 7000rpm

since then i've been able to shift at 7000 without any probs...

and as u know mrphotoman i am f/i NGM...

I want this modd as soon as it comes out, thats for sure

I have been thinking of having a 6.75" pulley made. It would give you about 1 to 1.5psi more and would be safer than the 7" which I think is really pushing it for reliability. I may get one whipped up in the next month or so.
