ok, well, now i have time to explain. My a/c went out and i broguht it into a shop to fix. They close at 5 pm and i get off work at 6 pm so i told them that when they are done to park it outside, put the stock key fob in the center console, locking the car from the inside then closing the door. They called me and said it was done and confirmed the agreement about how i will pick up the car. So, i go there to get it, unlock it with my viper key fob and open the door. the stock alarm goes off and theres no key inside the car....at all. So, they must have locked it by the key fob allowing the stock alarm to set and locked my keys inside the business until they open tomorrow morning at 8 am. OK, no problem, i go back at 8 tomorrow and pick it up, right? WRONG! Tomorrow at 8 am i have a math class that i happen to be taking an exam in so i cant skip or be late to...so now im left with no ride to school tomorrow and no car. not to mention the car is left in a not-so-good area. I hope nobody spots the in dash double din nav in there. not to mention my rims....so, im left with bein able to get in the car, but cant start it due to the stock alarm going off which is why i want to disable it.

i got the same system man,,disabled it too freaking cats kept making go out at 3.a.m ,,check under the hood at the top left corner theres a black plastic piece (i guess it might look like a horn or something) with two wires going to it,id have to go look but i believe the left wire has a lil steel screw ,,take off that screw, and remove the wire touching the firewall, it should be the ground to the system,,,its just left of your ecfi,,just a lil bit right or your left strut,,you should be able to see it from the top,,good luck man on your exam and it should fix your prob,,

okay. put you key in the ignition in the on position and wait for 5 or 10 minutes. it should go off. and if you have your keyless entry, turn it to the acc position and push the lock or unlock until the hazards flash. hope this helps

How would cats set off the stock alarm (unless you locked the car door by the fob, and then they're reaching in the open window to open the door).

i dont know man ,,but getting up at 2.a.m . for no reason when your already a zombie for being on-call is a real piss off too,,im just blaming it on cats ,cuz i got no clue what sets it off ,,when i get out there no ones in sight ,,i did a few false alarms back in the day for alot of pickups ,,the cats would go right in the engine bay and sleep on the warm engine during the winter, real pain in the ***,and where i had her parked the only thing that could get in or out of the premise are lil animals,

Never tried this, but will the car start at all if the alarm is goin off, be it with key or remote start?

if you have a manual transmission.... DO NOT REMOTE START THE CAR!!!!....unless its in nuetral or your car will start driving off...and once u press the brakes the car will shut off...

Wow, glad to see you got your car back all fine and dandy. Figured the alarm going off would cause a neighbor to smash your car or something.
