Im so ESSITED! (LOL Translation excited)

Yea let me know the price because thats the next thing Im looking at in the next couple of months, Id appreciate it.:3_pimatyoyou can pick up ported lower IM for $179 at road race motorsports....you also need 60mm TB, because your 55mm is just too small for it...with that IM stock TB becomes restriction (i can get you one for good price)
somewhere around 115 ... which is not much comparing to RRM 60mm TB for $300Yea let me know the price because thats the next thing Im looking at in the next couple of months, Id appreciate it.:3_pimatyo
Oh yea that sounds good, Ill be in touch with you on that. What about a bigger MAF? Any where to get one of those?somewhere around 115 ... which is not much comparing to RRM 60mm TB for $300
Yep thats correct, 5500-5800ish. It just dies.the peak whp gain was only like 8 or something... but the max whp gain elsewhere in the rpm band was like 24 (undoubtedly after 5500 rpms when the stock manifold falls on it's face)
Maf is not really restrictive comparing to other things ...if you will go 70mm TB and boost then you can do your MAF.Oh yea that sounds good, Ill be in touch with you on that. What about a bigger MAF? Any where to get one of those?
I have MY upper and lower IM on their way and once there installed i was going for the BBTB is next. You said you could get one at a good price for him, Is that for everyone or just for him?you can pick up ported lower IM for $179 at road race motorsports....you also need 60mm TB, because your 55mm is just too small for it...with that IM stock TB becomes restriction (i can get you one for good price)
And remember hp and whp are different things, on N/A this IM gain 15 whp if you have lower IM and TB, with cams it will gain a bit more.....
yes...these numbers are true if you have cams in addition to IM...my falls on its face after 5.9k goes down to 180whp at 6.5k....with IM and cams 6.5k is where you have peak and big gain of up to 24 hp...but usually in range of 20whpthe peak whp gain was only like 8 or something... but the max whp gain elsewhere in the rpm band was like 24 (undoubtedly after 5500 rpms when the stock manifold falls on it's face)
Ok See I read some where that the mafs dont like to muched increased flow from the BBTB's, thats why I asked.Maf is not really restrictive comparing to other things ...if you will go 70mm TB and boost then you can do your MAF.
With cams, UP IM and TB, the next thing to improve is lower IM (if you would want a bit more power)
I ported 3 TBs ... and only finished one of them which i run my self ... I am done with school and rebuilding rx8 and next ting to do on my list is to finish those 2 TBs (there is still a bit of tedious work left with them)...so when ever i will be done with them i will let you know ... .but send me PM so i knew/remembered who wants it.I have MY upper and lower IM on their way and once there installed i was going for the BBTB is next. MAF has problems with high boost air flow.Ok See I read some where that the mafs dont like to muched increased flow from the BBTB's, thats why I asked.
maybe..... older stg iv's and snipers have 60mm inlet platesNGM tri-flo. It will match the inlet on your stgIV
Good point. Didnt consider how old this one might be.maybe..... older stg iv's and snipers have 60mm inlet plates
yea while it's off jproph, you might want to measure the inlet plate. If it was 60mm i'd consider sending it to TC and have a new flange welded in that is 70mm like the new ones have. Just an fyiGood point. Didnt consider how old this one might be.
YEa this one is a 60mm by the look of it, but I will be looking at the stealth turbo next year and Ill get the 70mm then I guess, I wont be going ove a 60mm TB this year anyway. So it should serve its purpose.yea while it's off jproph, you might want to measure the inlet plate.
