Oh and why doesn't he show us his Tiburon Type-R and Tiburon GT-R V-Spec, since he's out flashing his pretty badges?

jk

But seriously, showing me badges tells me nothing, I want to the turbo setup, maybe some dyno sheets and some stats and information like how much PSI are you running etc etc.

I see this more as the SRT-4's with dealer option for Stage 2 Turbo upgrade. Although the dealer will install and allow you to roll it into the loan. It will still void the warranty.

Even if they warranty it, it will be under very specific terms.

I can see it happening though.

blah blah blah blah..I'm not reading all the bickering.

Try dealer isntalled option. There is a very good possibility that you will see this on a parts counter FROM Hyundai available to be installed by your dealer. Till we actually see it on the shelf....cant we all just get along.

and the flyer if I remember correctly, doesnt say anything about factory installed.

They won't make the 4cyl faster than the GT. It just doesn't make sense that the smaller engine is faster. So if they do turbo they will restrict the piss out of it so that it is still weaker than the GT. That or they will throw out the V6 all together, but from a marketting standpoint, that will hurt them. Unless they give alot more balls to the V6 to give room for the beta to make a little more power, but they wouldn't overhaul both engine options mid year.

None of it make sense from a marketing or manufacturing viewpoint. Also I think we would have heard of it before now. But, who the hell knows. Scan that flyer, is it from hyundai corporate or some BS thing your dealer put together. Maybe the dealer is going to install turbo kits.
It's easier to put bolt on turbo kits on 4 cylinder cars than six, and don't be jealous that you spent extra money on an engine that is not much more powerful than the I4

the engine is not more powerful just more capable but this all doesnt hold any weight man have you seen tcs internals now there is really noreason to own a i4 if you want to put it bluntly, ..im not hating but dont say, your making the same or more power or anything about potetntial becasue, fast i4s here are a minority, within a minority

He is talking stock, since it's bad to sell a "weaker" engine as a car that puts out bigger performance. What would be the point to the V6 if they are selling turboed I4's?

Stock for stock, the V6 is quite a bit more powerful than the I4. 40 whp is a pretty decent difference, and that is the V6's selling point.

(wow allot of hostile people in here ) probably off topic but i like the idea of a factory turboed car even if it does void the warranty because we ( i mean all of us here are out for one thing ) faster cars i personally think its time hyundai put out a turbo car again just like they did with the tibs predecesor the scoupe not the quickest but light and a platform to start so we are were we ar now i still own my turbo scoupe its garaged in puerto rico and i still like driving it wen i go back :3_lurk:
