SPEED INPUT (pins 4 & 5 from multi gauges)
The Blue wire (goes to pin 5 on the gauges) is in the LOWER RIGHT hand corner of the connector MC101. If you are sitting in the driver’s seat and looking at the connector, it is the wire all the way to the right (passenger side) and on the bottom. It will be a Blue wire. A Red/Black wire will be to its left and a Brown wire will be right above it. Once you find this wire you can also look for the Brown wire (goes to pin 4 on the gauges). It is at Pin 3. Go up ONE wire and over TWO to the LEFT. You will see the Brown wire. It is the THIRD one in.

These two wires can also be found in the gauge cluster as well in Connector M10-1. I pointed these locations out because it is rather difficult to work with the connector under the center console. I’ll leave the choice up to you which wires you use.

CAN INTERFACE (pins 1 & 7 from the multi gauges)
The Green (goes to pin 1 on gauges) and Orange (goes to pin 7 on gauges) wires are in the UPPER RIGHT corner of the connector MC103. The connector is an 8 pin connector. They are right next to each other on the RIGHT side of the connector release tab. There are NO wires to the immediate LEFT or RIGHT of these wires. See for yourself.

its really not to bad. the instructions are really accurate if you follow them. i've done this twice now and about to do it a third time. if you need special help, pm me or post in this thread.

i am kind of confused.... can i do this on my own or do i need to take it to a hyundai dealership? i just got the wiring harness in mail with the kdm multi gauge cliter for my gt. can someone help me please
see above.....

are the wires the same on a manual transmission..meaning the wires being in the same place by the shifter?? cause i see the graph for auto?

also yes you can do this youself takes about 45 mins fellow the directions in the thread
yes the wires are the same for the five and six speeds. I just used the wires behind the gauge cluster though, they are easier to get to in my opinion.

Re: DIY New Multigauge

hey guys i just finished this up tonight and the DIY is very expanatory and it is easy if you follow it ... the only things i would have to add to it is if you have 2 yellow wires from your radio harness the yellow one to use is directly under the red power wire and for the clip that is under the shifter i found that it was WAY easier to actually unclip it and pull it back out about 5 inches then splice into it then replace it instead of trying to work in such a tight place ... hope this helps

also faus i have a question for you ... will this work the exact same for an 07 i4 auto as it did for my 03 v6 manual? the reason i ask is because of the shifter wiring harness would be different correct? so would we just have to use the wires behind the gauges cluster? please let me know so that i can sell my extra set to a person i know can use them
