explain to me how you trapped 102 by missing 4th, and then you get a clean pass and only run a 13.2 @ 117? that doesnt add up...117 trap should be atleast a low 12.

are you sure it wasnt 107mph? that makes sence and add's up with the 13.2.

what was your 60' and your 1/8 mile mph?

because when missing 4 gear we let off the pass..no accelaration before that.next pass was a cleaner pass and it even hit the rev limiter on 4,make your calculations on that,4.06 final drive,6800 rpms,1.06 4 gear and 225-45-17 tires.

not bad, that trap is way faster then a 13 second run though You should get into the 12s with some grippy tires.

1st for all the whatnot you talk 13.2 is really not the greatest. That being said 13.2 is not bad for a GK with a beta in it.

2nd...your trap speed is way, way to high for you et.

he wasn't on it in any gear except 4th, it was a test run, whereas you were trying. 13.2 is extremely slow for 117.


BTW...future advice. You don't burnout on stock tires...it is utterly pointless.

and

unless you run 10s or better, don't pull past the box on a burnout. It wastes time and irritates everyone. Most tracks actually have rules about it.

BTW, 374 hp, in a full weight car, should not trap 117 mph. But you were spinning, so we already know you will lose some mph on slicks...

 

you think so? its YOUR opinion,with the slicks i will go full power from the start,not low boost 1 and 2 gear and then high boost,on of my cars (hyundai scoupe) did 13.6@114 on street tires,i put the slicks and the first pass was 12.8@116,dont compare rwd with fwd.

and no problem,next time i willl take the video from my work to the track,show you my trunk and interiors and all thats stuff you asking for,but dont come with excuses like i will not do that if i do that,i did 13.21@117.8 and for your information the rev limits hits before passing the 1/4 miles!!! hhahaha

Trap speed is highly affected by off the line traction.

12 seconds? almost there,just a little less tire pressure and a fifth gear shift.but i am very happy with the car anyway.

Because I think You forgot to spray on your 13.8 run, then sprayed on your 13.2 run.

yes i did some changes to the car,more boost and a little less richer.thats were the power come from.remember something,i have experience with this motors since 2002 if that counts.

your trap speed is ****ed up or something..not sure with whats going on there but it does NOT match your 1/8mph at all....for example...

I trapped 90mph in the 1/8th and ended up trapping 111mph in the 1/4...and my time is faster then yours.

also, if your bouncing off the revv limiter, you need driving lessons.

the only way your trap speed makes any since with your 1/4 mile time, and your trap speed is you were spraying after the 1/8th and thats where all the top end trap came in....other wise, you really really suck at driving if your only running 13's at nearly a 118mph trap.

dyno charts? Boost specs? turbo specs?? a actual freaken slip? I dont know...make me believe.

 

Nice run, I agree with Burnsville. You shouldn't have any problem getting into 12's with slicks.

So we agree with someone who never posted a video of a time (not gonna say who) 12.61 but when this guy gets 13.2 at 117mph nobody believes it. Look at the video! Who cares if he sprayed or not he still ran a 13.2 in a Tib. To that I tip my hat off

This guy comes into everyones thread, trys to tear them apart, every time. He did it to steve, twice, chris (mines better) and I think a couple others, unprovoked, for no reason. Saying, oh cool, but I'm faster, PR tibs are the best blah blah.

And, to top it off, he is trying to pass his car for something it's not. Moreover, he doesn't realize that a car with that little power, will not pick up 30 mph from 1/8-1/4... Right there he lies. And do tell, how a car that is heavier then another member on here by a couple hundred pounds, (if in fact he has a full interior/stock weight) Can run 2 mph faster, supposedly running out of gear (insinuating that he will trap faster) with the same hp? Basically he gained 30 mph, and thinks he ran out of gear, so what does he expect to pick up 32-33-34 MPH, with 374 whp? Ok....

It's all about integrity, he has none.

he see the video,but i can post a video of my car doing 10 seconds on street tires and he will say its nitromethane mixing with toluene,1,000 hp nitrous with 4 stages,75 psi of boost and a genesis engine!!! he will never accept that i have a fast car compare to the others on this site!!
now they know why i make such claims of to slow for v6 engines!!!! i ran faster with 2 cylinders and 700cc less engine.whos the fastest v6 on street tires? does it compares to me? what do they want me to do? put the slicks and break all the records? i can do that but i want to run 12 seconds on street tires because i have a street car!! pump gas!!! no nitrous!!! full exhaust!!! full interior!!! but next the video will be more elaborate to shut down some people here thats dont understand tha puerto rico does it better!!!
