Last night, I was at Steak N Shake in Franklin, TN on highway 96 with some friends and a couple of guys I didn't know. I've been asked to race a few times, but normally I say "no" because I don't think the race would be very close and not really worth my time (90's civics with intakes and fake exhausts etc. or boosted S2000's that would clearly beat me by bus lengths) But last night there was a guy that drove an older Supercharged Thunderbird. I don't know a whole lot about these cars, but I know they look extremely heavy. The guy said he had around 210HP and 320 ft/lbs tq. I decided it would be a good race, and since my clutch sucks I told him I'd race him from 20MPH. The first run, I got about a half car ahead of him at the start of the race, and it stayed that way until the end. The second run, my clutch didn't slip nearly as bad and I beat him by about a car and a half. I'm pretty excited about my first race and the results. Comments/ flames for racing are welcome. My flame suit is on.

Take it off the streets guys...try watching those tear jerking vids of others racing and thinking all will be well...only ending up as a quad or dead...u are not special...it can happen to you. Smarten the F up.
