Since the destruction of my engine - I decided, that if I was going to Alpine my motor, I would be doing it with a spare.. so went out and purchased another motor, rebuilt it, cammed it, ported it.. and just got done mocking up the motor... Heres what it looks like so far.....

your missing a bolt in your header........but other than that, it looks pretty nice

 

Dude, watch out, you have lightning in your engine bay! You need some ground wires bad!

 

missing a lot of bolts.... its just a mock up.. still have the clutch coming, and because of the rear fuel injectors can't bolt on the supercharger until its installed...

Alpine pulley hit the cruise control and shredded.. wrapped around pulleys and then cut thru timing belt.. wrecked the engine.. with 6K miles on it... Hyundia agreed to fix it if I didn't put the supercharger back on.. so out comes the new engine with 150 miles on it.. and in goes the new one I just had built...

that sucks about your first engine, but its cool that hyundai replaced it...
what are you doin with teh old one?... or is in the dealer's possesion?

 

I have 3 engines actually.... a 2005 with 150 miles, a rebuilt monster with 0 miles and a 2004 with good intentions..... Gonna really go nuts on that one.. ripp and nitrous
