Thats Horrible man! so sorry to hear about that. if it were me i would put that as a down payment towards a truck lmao but thats just me becc im dying for a truck.

i hope everything works out well man. glad you are ok,

was 15k the first offer the insurance company made??

It's such a shame that two beautiful cars got smashed up, I'm glad you're all alright.

You should put it towards a STi

This makes me sad. You had a sweet tib :( $15k isn't a bad offer for the first one. I'm sure you can talk them up a bit, as they always low-ball. Plus you can try and part out some stuff to recoup some cash, like your rims. Sell them to someone for stockers + cash. Insurance shouldn't ***** too much over something like that.

15K is actually high - the car has a KBB of about 12-13K in excellent condition.. I wouldn't lean on them too much.. but here is the question... what do you owe on it? That's probably why they are offering that much.. Anything you can do to stay right side up on a loan is the best avenue...

I was going to say the same thing! As long as you owe less than what the car is worth, you're in good shape. If the difference is enough for you to put 25% down toward the purchase of another car, then you'll continue to stay ahead.

good to know you all waste your money on cars.

id get a $5k car at the most, and either save or invest the rest.

But what do i know
Quite presumptuous aren't we? There are plenty of us who invest or save and then use the "rest" on our cars.

My old tib suffered the same fate. I went back and picked out an 08 tib, and being a second time Hyundai buyer, they gave me a huge discount on the new car. It was stickered at over 20,000 and only owe 11,000. I did use some money from insurance to get it this low. What I'm teying to say is stick with Hyundai. A gen coupe or new turbo sonota could be had at a ridiculously low price.

If it was me I'd probably go out and test drive a Genesis and see if it felt as right to me as the Tib, and if so, I'd get that. If not, I'd probably wait and either buy an Optima, Veloster, or Sonata Turbo.

It's a shame you're all the way out in CA, because I'd love to get those side splitters from you since they're already completed and I keep forgetting to get the materials to start mine, heh.

if i where you, I would buy like 20 tiburons, then take all the motors out, and put them in. If you happen to have any money left, get as much coke as you can. then have like 20 hookers come over...

thats what i would do

i thought about it, then i saw something shiny....

so, I would look into a jet engine swap. i hear that makes the car hella fast, and worth a lot

Don't think. Just buy another Tib.
