Yo Nera_Kralj !! Where is that beast you were talking about? I really want to see this and some result. That's awsome if you got that much power of a 3.0 santa fe motor with built internals. I think you mentioned titatium rods or pistons when we talked on the phone. .. ? Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks.

Post up better pics and some numbers pls. This would be great for the Newtiburon.com forum.

Well those were his exact words when I spoke to him on the phone. 3.0 sante fe motor. He said it looks just like the tib motor but has different internals(titanium). He had some mechanic do it.

Those pics above could be old, I pulled those pics from one of his post. I won't beleive it until he proves it with legit numbers and back-up. On the pic above those are 190cc injectors(green), there is noway he is pulling 270hp on those stock injectors too.... :3_headsha ???

I talked to him a bit on the phone about this tib and some of his previous projects. I thought he was on the Delta...I didn't hear about any 3.x...then again, it's been about 3 or 4 months since we talked, so I could be wrong. Either way, this guy's build is gonna rock if it's anything like we discussed.

Wow, this turned into a totally useless post. Sorry guys, lmao!

I think Nera is for real...from what we've discussed he has a strong background in F/I and is very knowledgable...this N/A thing is news to me though.

He's one of the local guys here in Knoxville. I met him once at a meet early last summer. I'm not sure what his exact set up is in his car, but I can ask around. I know multiple folks here in town who know him.

I just spoke to someone who is familiar with his car, and he was under the impression that it is just a built stock 2.7 liter motor with some transmission work.

Supposedly it is bored/ported/polished and is pretty quick, but it has been months since my buddy talked to him.

Just figured I'd try and help clear this up. lol

lmao the sante fe had different options including the 2.7L 3.3L and the 3.5L if u take a 2.7L and bore it enough over ur sitting at 3.0L .... so it COULD technically be a delta... and it COULD be out of a sante fe...

lol u blow an engine by exceding the capabilities of it's components... not hard to blow an engine really... just have to either be stupid, take off the safeties that stop u from blowing it... or well like a lot of the F/I guys find... u pump enough for through a stock engine and it dies...

That IS the 2.7L Delta engine. Actually looks quite stock with just some parts painted. I suppose he could have swapped in better internals, though.

The IM and valvecover look much different from the Delta.
I'd like to see some video's and hear what that engine sounds like =)

Is that engine the same as the 3.0L many in Korea swap with?
The 3.0L isn't the big swap in Korea. The 3.3L and 3.5L are the big swaps over there. I should also add that the 3.0L and 3.5L are the same "Sigma" motor but the 3.5L is bored.

Hey guys,
sorry for the late response but I think I have bit off more than I can chew at this point. The motor in the car is out of a Santa fe (so I was told). When it was runing I took it to the "RAPE HOUSE" dyno it was puting out 269 HP. But rite now the motor is out of the car as I blew the shi** ...I will scan my dyno slip and post it tomm. hopfully.
Nema- Nick u guys need to get together and help a brother out. I need some help with the motor because its a bi*** when you work wit just one more person.
PS>
More pictures to come and will keep you guys posted .....
Ah, so you blew your beast of a built motor. Seeing how little you know about the motor and the fact that it is not blown I will be calling BS. Post detailed pics that prove this was done and I will change that opinion.

lmao the sante fe had different options including the 2.7L 3.3L and the 3.5L if u take a 2.7L and bore it enough over ur sitting at 3.0L .... so it COULD technically be a delta... and it COULD be out of a sante fe...

The 2.7L Delta motor is already a bored motor. You really cannot safely bore it any more. I believe the 2.7L is a 2.5L motor that was bored. The 3.0L motor is the Sigma motor which I don't believe was in the Sante Fe ever. I know the 3.5L was in the Sante Fe, but the 3.5L is a big bulky iron motor. Definitely not the motor in the pics posted.

^^^. YUP!

And he said it had a built internals. With built internals it would be twice as hard to blow it especialy if it was N/A. We can go on and on about this. . . .

I can se this thread turning to more of a disaster so Like I said! . . PLEASE SOMEONE LOCK THIS THREAD!

The pictures GuamBomb posted are about 2 years old. Guam I might be a lot of things in life but lier is not one of them. The motor is a sigma 3.0L as I was in Washington when it was geting put in the car I didnt have a chance to watch it being done. The reason I blew the motor is because I put 75 shots of NOS on it. Now I dont know who u are but I respect you and your opinion. I'm a disabled military veteran and have been around the world. Before I got shot and disabled I spent 3 years in Iraq. So please have some respect as I'm a grown *** man.
P.S.
"ArchAngel916"Please lock this tread down, deleate it, or do what ever. I will post some pictures when I start MY OWN TREAD when I get done with my car. And Guam instead of looking to start **** for no apperent reason u might want to think about yourself and how make your car eaven better than it is. If I might add it is one bad *** car....

Thanks, Norm SEMPER FI

umm I didn't see guambomb starting any ****, he posted that he tought it'd be awesome for the tib comunity to see. personally I always felt that the 2.7L was a tad bit small for a V6 engine to build on especially considering it's an bored out 2.5L to start with.

As far as the engine numbers was this with or without the 75 shot? if it was with I would not call those number N/A. I'd be listing them underneath sprayed. Other then that, for an N/A engine that's well within believe capabilities for a 3.0L. To bad it's blown though. Going to rebuild it?

The last thing I have to say is that I'm trying to find the connection between military service and an engine swap. Not trying to flame man, as i do respect what you have done for our country I'm just not seeing the connection. Anyways, if you do have any picture or video I'd for one would love to see them

Sorry guys, I don't mean to poke sticks at people, but I said it before...I have the utmost confidence that this project is/was legit just by speaking to Nera_Kralj on a long phone conversation...he knows his sh!t and from what I have heard/seen, is not the BS'er type. I also think Guam was more excited about the project than anything...I seriously doubt this thread was created to call anyone out.

Good luck bro! Keep me posted.

Sorry guys no disrispect intended. I/m a bit on the edge, I just had a son so I'm somewhat out of my mind for a moment.LOL
Yes the HP was on the spray but as you know I didnt start this tread and dont feel an urge to justify my self or my actions. The military has nothing to do with a motor, but it does with calling someone a BS'r thats all...
Heratik, I will keep you posted but it might be spring-summer before its done. I just hope that it can hold up as I do drive like a maniac...
Aquila the reason I decided to go with a 3.0 is because the 2.7 is nothing but a bored out 2.5 as u said. I didnt want to go with a bigger motor because the weight starts to be a factor and fitting it all in would be toooo much of a pain and $$$$$$$...
Once again I promise to start a tread when I get all my **** done and hopefully we can get someone else to do it too as I will be offering all the help I can give.
"Guam" my appologies... Not geting enough sleep is starting to work on me...LOL
