You can do a complete change of the huibs, brakes, etc. Or get wheel adapters that change the lug pattern. But you're looking at a good 1" spacer with those.

 

I'd just do the hubs, in this case. If you are pushing your wheels out farther, you will wreak havoc on your bearings.

the conversion would be a good chunk of change, hubs are about 50 each and rotors and the calipers gotta be 300-400 bucks

 

This falls into the category of "pay now, or pay later". You'd be better off paying up to get it done correctly the first time than having to worry about it later.

Just out of curiosity, why do you want to do the swap?
