I am having the same things light up on my car. Brake light and the battery. My tester at home says my alt is bad, im going to autozone in a few mins to verify. If it is the alt, when i swap it ill let you guys know if it fixed my problems. Ive been having light flickering issues, and the car deciding to randomly not start also. This may all be factors leading up to the Alt going bad.

I was also having other random electrical problems leading up to this. The car must shut off electrical components to try to save as much power as it can.

BTW, how difficult was it to change the alt on your tibby? it looks like theres 2 bolts on the top, and im guessing one on the bottom??
