Just bought a set of Chrome Headlights from Cheori and I was just asking him the other day about the angel eye being added to it. His shop doesnt sell angels. So heres the deal, I want to get em. 150 +we ship them to you+ shipping them from you? Is that what your guaging an interest in? Count me in as interested as long as shipping aint gonna break the bank .

 

I ordered a pair from blacktibz a few months ago for $100 and have not got them yet. He said he's working on them but when I bid on them I was under the impression they were already made and ready to go. still waiting so I can put them in and see how they look. should go nice with my apaches.

 

well i hve been thinking about this and there are 2 ways i could do this. i have aquired a couple of sets of lights to play with, you can either ship lights to me and i can install them. shipping shouldnt run about more than 15-20 each way in the U.S.. or i can make it into a kit which would be easily installed just by changing out the chrome rings but you would have to connect the wiring yourself. the lights would be already installed in the rings and i would ask for a core charge on the rings , just send me your old ones once installed. i would sell complete units but im picky about about quility, i would either have to buy new headlight sets and install which would make it real pricey. or used ones and its hard to find used in perfect shape you know. I wouldnt sell anything i wouldnt purchase myself. The chrome rings however are usually in good shape so that i think would be a better ideal.I should have everything together in about 2 weeks to begin this venture , so i will update on the status of availablilty and turn around times in a couple weeks. thanks guys for the input.
I should be able to do pretty any color but for the time being its only going to be for the 03-04 style lights since i dont have a set of the 05s to mess with yet.

 

yeh i be more interested in just on the kits, since my car would pretty much be useless to drive at night without headlights.

i perfer the send you lights and you install as opposed to buying a kit, cause I'm getting chrome headlights. Only thing I dont like so far is every part i havent physically seen with my own eyes takes weeks and weeks to get. Thats about getting old in my book. So if you do decide to do trhis venture what would you expect as a turn around time? Less than two weeks from getting the lights hopefully..............................................

 

well i have to finish 2 sets before i start taking orders but i need to know a couple of things from people what colors they want (white, yellow, red,blue, green maybe purple) second i how to hook them up. the way i have done it before was to use the wires from the city light for power, but i can run a another wire to hook up to switch for those people who want to be able to turn them off and on independent of the running lights.

as far as turn around time it would take me about a day to do each set so shipping is up to you. fed ex was about 15 dollars for ground shipping but im sure you could express it for a bit more. just include the same in price for express return.

if u mean mix different color rings thats fine but each ring will only be one color. ok if you want hook up for a switch i will run an seperate pair of wires with a plug terminal for easy install.

well as soon as i can i will do so gonna have wait just a bit. i have some i am working on but i need a different sized ring so i am waiting on these and if all parts are as good as the first ones i recieved then it will be a go. i happy to see so much interest in this , ill update as soon as i have finished product to post .

well give me a couple of months to see how well this works out, then ill look into the 05's .. I havent actually seen them taken apart .After i get a set im sure with time i could figure it out for them too.the 03-04 design is pretty good for this kinda mod.

You're probably talking about Bi-Color LEDs. They have 2 colors per LED.

With Bi-Color LEDs, you could actually make 3 different colors...

With: (Color 1)/(Color 2) - (Combine Color 3)

Red/Blue - Purple
Blue/White - Ice
Red/White - Pink
Blue/Green - Teal

I'm thinking about putting some Red/White AE's in my 05' headlights... Not for the pink though... :3_wink:

i'd be interested too for some dual ones connected to a switch, but i like the "send you my headlights you install & send back routine" since i suck at installing stuff like that

 

like i said figure about 2 weeks before i start taking orders. kits will hopefully be available 3-4 weeks depending on how long it takes me to get some more headlight rings. i only have a couple of ring sets in my possesion at this moment. ill probably do this... after i get a couple more ring sets ill send them as completed units and ask for a $40 core charge on the rings so when you install yours you send me your old ones. I just have to ask becarefully when sending back cause if they are all scratched up they wouldnt be of use to me.
