Since there are so many posts about what kind of AE's look best. I have decided to post a thread so people can look at examples and decide rather than having a hundred posts about the same topic. 3 picture limit. So I will start.

Done.

Mine are from SFR but I've slightly customized them... I still don't think they look half bad though.

Installed my Pauly's over the weekend. They don't look too bad but the brightness is lower than I expected
With Paul constantly saying how bright his CCFL AE's are, I thought they really were super bright. But, they are not. I saw them on a local NT member's car at the 8/30/09 Beach BBQ meet (6_cyl_to_kill, Eric) but they are actually LESS BRIGHT than my SFR 7,000-K white LED's. And in real life, they don't look as nice as they do in pictures. The SFR AE's, on the other hand, already looking amazing in pictures, look MORE AMAZING in real life.

Mine are actually white but in some pictures, they come out looking blue. In person, though, it is completely white in color.

installed!

they are easily seen during the day :) (so far it hasn't been extremely bright yet today lmao)

btw this was the easiest install for ae's i've ever seen/heard of i did the oem style. it was literally take the headlight apart put ae's on top of ring little bit of hot glue pull wires under hi beam side clip clip put headlight back together.

Wow. I'm in love. Can someone explain the difference in the options? I like the SFR's the best I think. But are there advantages to one in a non-appearance respect? I can't wait to get this done!

The SFR angel eyes are LEDs and they're brighter when you look at it and there is no break in the circle of light. They're like the Audi LED ones on the A5 and R8. When viewed from up close, you can see the individual LED's light up. When viewed from afar, they look like a solid circle of light.

I've seen both AE's in person--the SFR LEDs and the Diode Dynamics CCFL's. The CCFL's aren't as bright as they look like fluorescent lighting shaped in a circular form.
