Well...I've had the fiberglass resin and mat sitting around for a while. I've been pondering about what to use it on for my car, and I think I've finally figured out something to do to start me off. I want to fiberglass the leather part of my door (the piece right above the arm rest, right below the door handle). Then bondo it, smooth it out, and paint it to match the rest of my interior pieces (switches, console, vents, etc.) What I'm wondering is if anyone has ever done this before, to tell me if a beginner such as myself would be able to do it, and if anyone has done it, pictures of what it looks like. I know they sell carbon fiber ones already made, but for some reason I really hate that look.
