I used to work in Tysons. Used to do contract work for the car dealerships there. Now I work in Alexandria. Like 10 min away from there. Just hope down 66, then S. Gleeb, then Rt. 1. I work at Reagan National Airport for Hertz

i'll do it even though my car isn't really show ready yet

AND btw- i'm trying to get some tibs together for a meet on June 26th at Dave and Busters at the whiteflint mall in Rockville. The meet starts at 1pm and we park on the top of the parking garage. It is also a celica meet (i used to have a celica) so i'm trying to get a dual meeting going on. Anyone interested in going, please pm me and maybe we can try and roll down together and represent the DC Metro area!!

I'll go to the triple crown in August. Just got mine yesterday and the last owner didn't mod so it's a stock SP3, but I'd like to go just to see all the other cars. As for next week's, is that Rockville MD or VA? A big drive difference for me haha.

 

does it have to be a tib? i own an elantra. and i now that several of the elantra owners would show up. trhe guys from NOVA and the guys that live in PA

 

for the triple crown it says "All domestic and import tuner vehicles welcome" so I would assume so!

 

the specific event is for any import or domestic, so you're welcome to roll with us. But as far as parking with us and the Hyundai sponsorship, that's for gen3 Tibs only. Hyundai is trying to get 50 03+ Tiburons at this show. I'm sure they'd love support from other models, but I believe you'll still have to pay admission. But hey, i'd love for you guys to roll up with us! Hyundai is Hyundai!

welcome to the list! there's still 2 months till the event, so that's plenty of time for mods! if you have any questions, there a bunch of us in the area that have done quite a few mods, so we'd be happy to help with deciding and installing!

Its in rockville, MD and no, it doesn't just have to be tibs or celicas- all cars are welcome. Its just a time for people who love their cars to get together and have a good time. If you are intersted in goign to the meet, hit me up on pm and i can give you directions or set up a time/spot to meet up to drive down together....
