very easy i just used a flathead screwdriver to remove the top button, then there is a nut i believe it's 12mm; u just remove that and the knob slides right out. also u want to make sure u don't lose the spring on the inside.

also DONT throw away the old button if your getting the SFR red stitched one, it doesnt come with a new button
