i will be driving from chicago to phoenix next january. i remember reading on some sign that if you stay under 60, your gas mileage will improve greatly. any input? 2003, 6 speed, stock except SRI
Most sources will tell you your MPGs will drop ~20% when travelling 20km/h / ~12mph over your vehicle's peak efficiency speed (usually 90-100km/h /55-60mph)
Not positive what our vehicle's peak speed is (ideal [new] from Hyundai), but I do notice when traveling above 100km/h (60mph) my gas gauge takes a hit
