and yes i know "get some rims" I was planning on getting them first but the way things went down it didn't happen like that. But it is the next thing on the list, I'll be begging for extra hours at the Apple Store for the next few months lol.

Looks really good. Rims would make it look really great! Nice work and congrats.

the rear flares dont look attatched to teh car, near the bottom of teh rear bumper...

the rivets look terrible..
and atleast you shoulda apinted teh screws on the black paint.. BLACK...

your interior is blue?!

tho the paint looks real decent, the hood is well done, and the c-pillars are a great touch...
i would look into paiting your head lights silver, since your body is silver, and your outside parts of teh hood are painted silver, the black lights jus break up the flow..

ohh and why didnt you put on the front flares?

and youre getting rims that will properly fit teh kit right?
cause if you dont, no matter how well the body looks, if your wheels are sunken in your tib will be jus another half assed tib..
dont take my comments the wrong way, they may seem harsh, but theyre jus to help, and/ or jus bring things to your attention...

Good feedback, I'm with Nisco on this one. But looks good so far.

there is a small gap, but they are well attached, there is no real place to put another screw to get them to line up. I will be tweeking it next time i go home though as well as getting some things touched up that i think are sub-par.

I agree the one screw should be black

I had silver headlights, and they were boring me. I like this a lot better.

I don't like how the front flares look. After looking at M&S show car's and seeing that most of them didn't have the flare I liked that look a lot better.

I'm looking to get 18X8's in the front and 18X9's in the back, i measured and there is about a 2 inch gap between the stock 17X7's and the flare. It should fill out nicely.

No worries on the honosty, without different opinions the world would be very boring.

you can always use 3M automotive double sided tape.. trust me you have no idea how strong that stuff is.. i would put a piece on the rear of those flares...

and one thing about the wheels is that the OFFSET plays a HUGE roll in getting the rims to fit properlly.. espcially if you want a staggered set up, or want a lip..

the lack of teh front flares looks funny to me, jus dont understna dwhy you wouldnt want a wider tire on a fwd car... but its your tib.. overall not bad, ill wait till you get some rims on to see how things finish

Thanks Nisco, and I appreciate the honosty in a non-yelling format as I see so much on this site.

Thats a good idea on the tape, and I actually have some here, I will give that a try.

I understand why the lack of front flare may be confusing. It's just something I kept seeing and really liked how it looked, and wasn't real crazy about how the front flare looked anyways. I almost hate to get a staggered set up because it's not rear wheel drive, but I think it's the only way to get it to look right.

Here's a link to another thread I started ( http://www.newtiburon.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1204908 ) asking about HP wheel brand and those rims in specific. I was planning on getting Axis Hiro's but the larger lip isn't available unless i go to 19 inch wheels and thats something I'm not interested in doing.

The tibs exterior should be done for the most part come summer. after that a little bit of suspension work and then "turbo prep" work, getting some good parts in there in hopes of going turbo in 07.

Thanks

looks good, needs some badass rims... I like the kit without the wide-fenders... I think theres "too much goin on" at/on these rear widefender things....
ya know i'd almost tend to agree, I love the front of them, and I love how it makes that little scoop, but I wish the fender in the back would go back into the body. In the end of i loved how it made the scoop more than i hated how it looked in the back. Someone else mentioned there was a lot of "color shock" in the back with the paint back there. My original idea is "well it's different back there, so instead of trying to hide it, highlight it." But I may try to photoshop and see how it would look silver, see how well i could hide it. anyone wanna photoshop for me? :)

If I was in Ohio and not running back in forth between ohio and atlanta every few months i would perhaps try to fiberglass a better transition in the rear.

If nothing else it gives me the "pop fender" look which seems to be popular on some other imports.
