Bodykit design drawing, opinions

So this is just a rough draft of a bodykit design I had worked on and I was gonna post it in that thread by that company advertising making a poly kit. Don't know where the thread went so I'm just posting it here since I bothered to find it. What do you guys/girls think? Any suggestions for improving sides and back. Once I get a clear image of where to go with it I'll be adding color and stuff. I know it doesn't look great right now, perspective is a little off on the sides of the front bumper.

Awesome as usual. Not that it has anything to do with the bodykit but could you make those eyelines a bit more aggressive? Angle them so that they cut more of the curve over the first head lamp.

Are you planning to line up the sideskirts to the stock rear bumper or are you planning for the sideskirts to hang a little lower than that?

Just as a sidenote, are those two fangs that I see?

Liking it...... but I'd lose the "fangs" in the grill area.

Would the side vents (the ones right in front of the wheelwell) be actually vented or just for appearance?

You sketch well but I'm not crazy about the design of the kit.

Try this...... gets rid of the "fangs" and covers the grill area to match the foglight area (kinda rough, used MSPaint..... graphics stuff isn't my forte). Is it a good/bad idea to have the FMIC exposed like that or would additional mesh/screen go over it?

Overall, I'm liking your design. The angles on the front bumper complement the angles elsewhere on the car. Flows nice.

Very nice sketch, and I like what you did gingii. Only problem is that the front bumper completly ruins the exotic look of the Tib, the mouth in the front bumper has to be smaller, maybe as wide as the upper grill. Also, maybe invert the scoop on the side of the bumper to feed cold air to the brakes.

That would be sweet, but the problem is it's too...... practical. There would need to be some sort of ducting going from the vent through the wheelwell. Otherwise the incoming air would go into the engine bay.

Now that I think about it.... that might be an interesting set up for a CAI on the driver's side.

As for ruining the looks of the Tib..... I dunno. Personally, some of the kits out there which are "curvy" rather than "angular" are the ones I think clash with the Tib's lines. I mean, looking at the front end, the hood (especially the headlight area), kinda the lines on the doors, it's angular. The RD Tiburon was smoother and curvy whereas the GK isn't. You slap a front bumper on it that's "curvy aerodynamic" and it just doen't look right to me. This particular design that Trinity is working on looks appropriate because it's angular in the right places. The angles complement the rest of the car. As long as it doesn't go over the edge into being "wild" I think it'll look good. Just needs a little tweaking is all.

Wow, never wanted a body kit on my tibby, until I saw this! I totally agree, most kits are far too curvy and just make the tiburon look strange. I like this alot; lets get it into production, and throw it on your tib; I think we all want pics!

Well thanks for the compliments and suggestions to all. Like I said, this is sort of a starting off point to get an idea of what the concensus like, i.e would most likely buy. Once I get everything done overall I'll be adding color to get some depth and so people can see what it will really look like. I freehand everything so it won't be computer modeled. Anyway, I'll revise the drawing and get a new one up soon. The "fangs" on the upper grille area were a last minute add on because it looked naked and I didn't just want to mesh grille it. That's too overdone. The lower "mouth" would definitely have mesh grille over the FMIC or big ass hole. Just drew in a FMIC for effect. To be continued.......

Oh, better sides and back sketches are coming as well. This was just to test reactions to see if I should keep drawing or start drinking!

hope you dont mind. did a little refinement myself. got rid of those splitter thingys on the side and got rid of the fangs and made a continuous line from one side to the other. i think gettinr id of the vent thing on the side skirt would give it a cleaner look though.

all in all, this wwould be prolly my one of my favorite kits if it was put into production.

EDIT: im gonna work on it a little more if its cool. im bored and have nothing to do.
