My tib didnt come with the sunroof. and looking at those tibs with that tilted sunroof open,
I want one too! Its almost like having a roof spoiler or something.
So here is my question.
Is it possible to install a sunroof on a none sunroof tib with the whole entire sunroof assembly?
yes it is possible. But parts and labor im guessing it will be around1500...I would call your dealership.

Just get an aftermarket sunroof installed if you really want one. Should cost under $1000.

Possible? yes Worth it? Most likely not.

A dealer-installed one is going to be very expensive, and aftermarket ones are known to have issues (leaking, cracking, etc). My Tib has one, but honestly it's not used that often and I wouldn't miss it much if it were gone.

Why so cynical?

Sunroof's are great, but like someone else said I think it's more trouble than it's worth. If you got the money I'd say go for it, but I would definitely get it done professionally.

my car didn't have one from the factory and the dealership had installed it for the previous owner .it's smaller than the factory sunroof and i never use it...... actually another member (local too) had the same one i did . i would leave it as is and not get one .

I love my sunroof. I will never own another car without one. Not even a big deal of opening it up.....but I personally love the "moon roof" option. That is having the carpet back pulled back so that the glass of the sunroof is showing. It is quite nice to have the highway lights and moon come through the glass overhead.

lets talk common sense here.
alot of aftermarket and retrofitted sunroof's have a tendency to leak so for that reason alone its a bad idea.
assuming your planning to fit a hyundai sunroof-why do you really want one?
is it for that "wow i have a sunroof" factor.........cos i know exactly what takawa...takama....him above means lol.
To quote Jeremy clarkson...."a sunroof is just a hole in the roof for making noise".You gets loads of noise, much worse fuel economy with the damn thing open and if you dont have a blind to close the sun gets in your eyes and if you do close the blind you block out the ventilation and the air so what was the point anyway?
If its summat your gonna desire forever go for it but its one of the most expensive useless things you can do.By the way all chicks with large chests should be forced to have opening sunroof's so tall men can lean over and say hello through it.......its kind of like an English perving hole......
