For those that are interested.....
this will be one mold only.... no options to get a wing with or without the brake light.... some areas require a 3rd brake light by law, so these will be made WITH the 3rd brake light.......

Will, is this a carbon fiber wrap or true carbon fiber wing?

 

is there any possibitly in getting different color in the carbon fiber similar to what F.F.F. does?

yes i can also do coloured carbon/kevlar combos.... red/carbon... blue/carbon etc.
with the colour option there will be a minimal surcharge to cover extra costs of these materials.

Additional charge for coloured carbon will be around 50$... depending on how many people order....

Mark, how would shipping these be handled? Estimated cost? Just want to make sure people aren't surprised by an extra bill for shipping that would affect their decision to purchase one of these.

 

Shipping will most likely be either USPS or UPS.... i got a quote before for a high spoiler (at UPS) and i believe it was around 100$ (due to the length of it, its put into a special category)

i will look more into shipping and trying to get prices lower once we start the GB.

 

either that or i'll take my high spoiler into UPS and have the guy quote it on the spot for me to california or something (will give me a rough idea of how much it will be for anywhere in the US)

lol @ brooni.... the kevlar/carbon mix is the coloured stuff.... red, blue, orange etc, isn't carbon (cause carbon is black) so they use kevlar and dye it.....
kevlar to stop bullets is left as a core material and still in strands.... don't think it would work so well once there's resin in it.

What would be the time frame on the start of the GB? Just wanting to get the people that are interested time to save up enough money, if needed. Maybe a known time frame would attract more people? Also to the people that are interested already, what kind of time frame would be best?

 

we could start the GB in the next month.... Once 10 people have paid the deposit, AND ONLY ONCE ALL 10 PAID DEPOSITS, it would take about 1 month to build them all. About 1 week for shipping them all, after the FULL amount has been paid.

To anyone who is interested, ^this^ is all you need to get the work started. You'll need $200 more for the actual wing at a later date and $100 more for shipping (this is what I've collected from the discussion). Sounds like a decent payment plan to me. So...all we need are 10 people with $100 to get this started. Anyone interested, keep the list going...I'll start:
