what the hell you smocking

stock v8 is Horsepower (SAE net @ rpm) 300 @ 5750
Torque (lb.-ft. @ rpm) 320 @ 4500

and that is to the flywheel

this is why i dont like mustange owners they never look up the specs before they buy a car

nice car besides that nice color specs

I have to look at those everyday, there's a Ford dealership 2 blocks from my house and I always have to slow down and check out these awesome looking cars. If I was to sell mine, I would have this on my list along with the RX-8 and Lexus SC430. Nice car man!!!!!

Why-Oh-Why didn't Ford chop the window like the proto-type........The new mustangs looks weird from the side with such a high roof..... My only problem with them was this roof issue...other than that, they are definately a smoken' car. And not bad stock performance either, V6=220whp, V8=300whp...thats pretty dam good. If I had the money, I'd buy one.

The mustang in the picture above is smoken...very nice indeed...

Yah, it'd be a nice car if it looked like the concept.
Here's a comparison:

HOLY SHHHhhhhhhhhhhhiznit! I didnt realize they changed that much...seeing the two cars side by side, Ford totally raped the concept car!....front end is different, sides are different, back is different, height of the car looks like its different (tire gap and ground clearance), the height of the window looks different...is there anything visually the same between these two cars? even the overall width of the two cars looks different..

To be honest, I know nothing about mustangs...just the ones I've seen do not look like the concept. Maybe thats the difference between the V6 and V8? Or different models of mustang....kinda like the equiv. of a mustang cobra? Just guessing here.

**Edit: After going to the mustang website they do have pictures of mustangs and they all are exact to the production pic on this thread. You'd think if they had other models they would have posted pic of them on their website. I think the only mustang produced is the production pic on this thread. I don' t think Ford made any that look like the concept.

2005 pics of the Mustang on Ford's website (Go to the PHOTO GALLERY and compare it with the pics on this thread)

The "MODELS" section on their website shows 4 different models all of which do not look like the concept. The only difference between the 4 models visually is the upper two models have two extra lights in the grill.
