haha, i mean, they're not horrendous or anything, if i knew they were, i wouldn't even bother in posting them up. im just not up there with top notch photography YET.

wow one of the best looking tibs with the 03/04 front. shows less is more and the correct mods make all the difference. and here i'm trying to swap to 05 front and your car will still look better than mine!

so my opinion is that your car would look better if on your wheels you didnt have the sliver lip and you paint it black because i feel like you car is a very subtle color but then you got the sliver lip poking out

and have you thought of putting in blue map lights?

I know you can buy the metallic interior door handles (The part you grab) but I cant seem to find the piece above that, that surrounds the actual handle (the part you actually pull) lol. Did you buy that? Or just paint it? also the little circle air vents on top of the dash (not the center ones, but the smaller ones that defrost the side windows) those look like they're metallic also.. thanks for any help man lol

I've thought about getting full flat/matte black wheels, but im just not a fan of the look, (with the exception of some cars). just not on my car, specially gloss black, just not my taste. i think the polished deep dish lip looks pretty mean, specially when the car is moving.

and i did have blue map lights, but realized it was too much blue.

the door handle pieces you're talking about, I did painted them a very loong time ago, i got the paint from Walmart (it was one of the first things i did to the car, and the paint job came flawless, which shocked me it didn't even bubbled or anything)

also did the side vent rings with the same paint. it matches surprisingly well with the real metallic door handles.

yeah i've always said the blue of his car has to be different from all the other TWB tibs

 

ok sweet. I know you've seen my interior, I painted like ALL the plastic pieces in there. But I'm gonna get rid of all that and go with the real metallic. I do want to do what you did though and paint those extra pieces since they don't actually make them in metallic. I think I might also match the gauge surround and shift surround to match too.
Your car is so clean, I wanna make mine as good as yours but with mine being messed up in alot of spots...its just too hard to compare lol. Keep up the great work man!

 

yeah bro, i would just leave it as clean as possible, just paint some details you knw? kinda like i did, door catch surround and center and side air rings. anything beyond that is over doing.. in my honest opinion. then yeah, get the OEM metallic pieces like the window switches, center fascia, door handles.
although i must admit i have been debating about painting the cluster surround too, but im afraid it'll look over done xD silly me

i will admit that, i am probably a little too drastic when it comes to taking care of my paint. i am freaking out right now since it just snowed here in north Texas and the car is dirty as fck! as you can see in the pictures where im at the top of the parking garage. i took them yesterday, too bad the car was all covered in that crap that they throw to melt the snow on the streets. pictures would've came out a bit better.

 

yeah, looks like the only place that now sells the window switches in metallic with the set is shark racing.. lol but i do know what you're saying about it being overdone, thats why i'm getting rid of all mine so i can go for more of a clean OEM look lol. not sure if you know, i changed my username, you might remember my other one as 03TibbyGuy lol not sure if you knew that
