So a couple of quick notes!!

Great job to all of you meeting up, in the north half of the state of IL!!

I will have a new banner company on board by turkey day!

Shawn (yellow special editionTib from Michigan) is now a member, so say hi!!

Babemona, has been an unofficial member, just haven't gotten the admin side done yet, but she is sporting a sweet custom banner( and you may not have one..yet)

I will not be a stranger any longer, just had a lifeful going on lately!

So start posting so I can catch up with all of you!!

We had about 20 Tibs at the meet, and some other cars stopped by as well. It was cool to meet a lot of new Tib owners in IL. A thread has been started to just discuss a St.Louis/Chicago meet, along with anyone else that wants to come. That's all I can think of.

Hola Doug! Good to hear from you bro.
Congrats to Mona and Shawn! Mona, we need pics of the banner, stat.
Good idea for our own regional forum. Not sure the whole country wants to hear about my misfire problems (which are soon to be history).
get them banners out to our boys and girls, they really turn heards. I had two poeple standing next to my car in a parking lot the other day arguing what DK was. One said it was a custom paint company and the other said engine parts.

I met the owner of Vertical Doors & he's planning on making the hinges for me & sending them as well. Well here are a couple of pic's for ya. Also I'm posting the artice in the general discussion for you all to read. Sorry about the pic's I don't really know how to re-size them

I am so glad Myerac started this thread! WELCOME to all DK members and I look forward to one day meeting you all. DK is growing with people like Myerac and members like yourselves, and to the one who posted about DK being a paint shop or performance parts, well its all that plus a bag of chips, oh and in my case, VINYL!!!! lol Anyway, this is great!!!!!!

Yeah, that was me David. I told them it was all things to all people and then drove away.
Mona, loving that banner! Any teasers on what you have planned over the winter? If you are getting rid of any parts, I have dibs:)

Thanks DK! I am currently buying a second stock bumper, since that hippo of a racoon split my first on. But we are going to modify it, take away a little, and add a little. I justlove the Ixion front end, but 8 weeks for fiberglass, that may be in poor shape, plus paint compared to exact fitment, and completely one of a kind...hmmmm....oh yeah several chips cheaper....option #2 please!
Glad to hear your misfire issues are going away GT. Nothin worse than a floppin fish!

Hello Ladies and Gents, just wanted to take a few seconds and introduce myself. Those who got to see my application already know my life story, so I will shorten it here. Well my name is Shawn, I'm 27, and currently live in St. Joseph, MI (for about anothe year and a half, then Uncle Sam will send me somewhere new). I run the Engineering Department at a Coast Guard Station here. My baby is a 2004 Special Edition, oh yeah, the yellow one. Check sig for current mods and some parts I have sitting here waiting for installs.
This is the first car I ever really had a chance to Mod. so I hope to meet everyone of you eventually down the line somewhere.

Hey well good for you, someone needs to show these imports that sharks don't mess around. LOL :woot: You have a great turkey day. I've started on my tibby already. LED'S. Hopefully finish them saturday & that will be 1 thing off my list to do's.

I have not started my winter project yet because the family might be moving, and if they do, then i will no longer be able to garage my car for winter, so gotta wait and see, but it should be fun to drive when spring rolls around.

#17 ·
Hey happy Turkey day to everyone. My car is getting the first of its winter work done as we speak. In the shop getting the subs installed finally. I cant wait. I have been without subs for months now and I need bass darnit. After that I got Headers, Underbody LEDs, and Verticle Doors sitting here waiting to go on. Everyone have a safe holiday.

Hope everyone is ready for this next, much more expensive hoilday....Santa better bring me what I asked for, I've been extremely naughty in a nice way. Sorry I haven't been on much, but with out anything but work and work, and work...did I mention work, there isn't much to say. The engine prep is done for the blower soCOME ON FAT MAN!!!!!

Burning the late oil eh bro'? How the hell have ya been??? Man I need to call you! Gotta get together soon, go look for that band again. SC all the way. I want the turbo, but I have got so much prep already for the SC, I really don't wanna back track, plus the boss wants a Magnum or the Stang GT 05, and either way i have told her it will beblown. Something about a magnum with a 3 gun intake just out of the hood sounds like it'd look cool.

#23 ·
No more of that band. Ever. But we definately need to get together again.
So are you going with RIPP? I've still yet to decide what I'm going to do this winter. NGM stage 3 sounds like a possibility, unless I find an Alpine cheap.
I wish my boss would demand a mustang! The 05's are beautiful. My boss still is demanding a house, whcih means no RIPP for me:(.
