Friday - Jillians (in Norfolk) in case any of you don’t know is a restaurant/bar/pool hall… You can arrive obviously whenever you get into town but we would like everyone to shoot for 8 pm at the latest. I e mailed them and told them we would be there and they warned that with a group this large we probably wont all sit together and it may take a while for us to get our food. Just to everyone knows. But, with all the things to do there you probably wont even notice if your food takes a minute right? Even though this is a bar, under age 21 is allowed as long as you’re in before 11pm I believe.
Saturday morning – Meet at Mount Trashmore 10 am then wait until approximately 11 and everyone will go to Motor World together. Motor World has a variety of Go Karts, bumper boats, mini golf etc. The package we got is 27 dollars plus tax for a wristband for go karts. All the other stuff you pay as you go.
*MOTOR WORLD screwed us over and accidentally booked the paintball field and wont cancel the other people's stuff despite me talking to them first, so... you can only play paintball if you have your own equipment and there has to be at least 10 people*
*Reminder, if you are under 18 you’ll have to forge a waiver (or bring a real one, but I don’t see how people would do that) to be able to participate in stuff, Motor Worlds rules*
After Motor World (the time will depend on when everyone decides to leave, could be earlier though at the latest I would say 4pm) we will go to the Convention Center for pictures. This is picture time, not check out the cars time so please pay attention to the person directing you so this goes smoothly. I WILL have the pictures pre planned so those of you who were worried about that I got it under control Does anyone own a Mega phone?
THEN in TnT tradition we will be having a BBQ @ Red Wing Park (6pm for those of you that might just be coming to this). We will be charging for food at the BBQ just so everyone is aware ahead of time. Since TnT members will be purchasing all the food ahead of time its only fair that you guys at least pay back what it costs ya know? For those of you thinking it’s shady to charge, think about it, you’ll be paying 5 dollars tops for a meal that’s cheaper then McDonalds for most people. We will not be making profits off this food sales like I said it’s just to make back what the foot costs since it would be too hard to coordinate everyone bringing something. This will be a good opportunity to have real face time with the other Tib drivers without random other people there (THIS is check out the cars time). This will probably be until about 8 or 9 pm (usually parks close at dark)
After that people can do whatever they want.
Sunday morning- Breakfast at Golden Corral @ 10 then everyone hits the road.
Directions
~ We will have several copies of directions from each place everyone will be going together. You’re on your own for directions to Jillians and from your hotel to Mt Trashmore since everyone is staying at different places that would be too hard for us to get ahead of time. BUT if you PM Crazycook99 (Tony, TnT SoVa VP) he can probably help you. The addresses for Jillians, Mt. Trashmore and Golden Corral are at the bottom for your mapquesting convenience. For the rest of the events, there will be designated TnT members (Nick, Mo, Tony, Crowe) through out the caravan to keep things on track. We might even go so far as to divide the cars in four separate groups and you make sure your group is with you while on the road. Please try to get the phone number of at least one of the people with the directions. We don’t want to lose anyone. MO! No following Neons!
