I use zip ties keep my headers on, I dont like bolts.

buy them, they look good. i have the grill installed on my car with zip ties, and hey it gets the job done.

so I'm not the only one that bought the Road Race carbon fiber eyelids and thought they were crap...didn't fit well at all and chipped...have Tomato ones now...and I had the billet grill as well before 05 conversion...it looks so much better then the stock crap grill for 03 and 04 that Hyundai put on there...

 

i am not so worried about zip ties, brakets can be made easily. I am more worried about the quality of the grill, as in welds and symentry (sp).

 

it looked fine on there...just watch the edges...it scratches the sides over time...

 

I guess I will go ahead and order it, just waiting on his reply for shipping cost.

my fiancee just bought that grill for me....its $20 + $20 shipping.....its perfectly symmetric and fits perfectly....of course its not like what his description says "Direct replacement over OEM grill"....you have to drill couple holes on the bumper and zip tie the grill on teh sides......there are 2 bolts on the bottom of the grill (2 bolts and the grill are one piece) and thats why u have to drill couple holes, then tighten it with the provided nuts......the grill looks great....much better than the OEM grill....

I don't remember seeing zip ties on yours, does it? Shows how much I pay attention.

Yeah, I just got his reply. So its worth the $40 bucks then I guess, not fond of drilling the holes. That is why I was leaning towards making my own, that way I could make it mount like a factory grill. Might as well get it. L8R

 

I was not about to drill my bumper, so this grille was a godsend. Only got the upper bit on atm, its too cold to do the rest atm. And I love the grille, makes the front of the car look so clean! If its the same as the other ones on eBay and the one I got, I am sure you will love it.

Yep....they are zip tied...OH and i didnt have to drill holes in my bumper!!! I LOVE IT...just friggin buy it!!

The grill came today. I paid for it with PayPal last week on Jan 11 and I got it today. The grill looks great. I placed it on the car to see how it will look. I am going to wash the car this weekend and install it then. I'll post pics this weekend.

 

eh. i had a terrible experience with that thing.. crappy welds snapped while installing... direct fit my azz... now i have holes in my bumper... and they wouldnt respond to emails... but you get what you pay for... i just painted my stock one to match while i send a few bucks to visa so i can order a kspec CF one.. anybody have that one?i like it...

Does yours have the bolts in it, and did you get instructions on how to install. I don't wanna drill the holes and they be wrong?
