Ok.... my buddy Jeremy just threw up a tread to get some questioned WHP from his mods....

I too ask the same question.... I know that I could try and hunt down a guestimate WHP with the "Search" however, I was wondering what people with similar mods may think?

Car:
2004 GT V6

Mods:
Injen SRI
OBX Headers
Stage IV NGM Intake Manifold
5 pt ground wire kit & voltage stabilizer
JunB.L Race Exhaust
JunB.L Race High-Flow Cat
Mafterburner


What is the guess at the WHP for these mods?
Also, what is the Tune I should run on this NA setup? (13-14?)

I'll be tuning the Tib and taking it to a Dyno, so we'll have to see if you're right! :)
 
181 :) at the wheels assuming your a manual if your a auto im thinkin 170
13:1

i put down 173 at the wheels untuned with intake headers and exhaust on stock intake manifold. i know the stage 4 doesnt do much for power but it may help out a bit to get you to 180ish
 
how is scotts WHP quote less then mine with the st.5 manny?

do auto's lose more power to the wheels?
 
also the lower the tune number the richer it is and the higher the leaner correct? or do i have that backwards.

So 13.2 is a nice number to tune with ? anywhere between 13 and 13.5 is ok right?

sorry newb to tuning and just got a neo haha

Cookie will be up to the winner! As long as they don't ask for a platinum cookie coated in Diamonds for chocolate chips.... lol

yup lower number = richer

12.5:1 is what a lot of poeple run for max power so why everyone is saying 13.2 idk 13:0 is a little better to run imo

5-speed? 6-speed? auto? dynojet?

Gotta give us details, man. There's a good 10 whp between auto and 6 speed.
 
Max power for N/A would be 14.7 which is stoich. You run a higher risk of detonation though since the engine will run hotter so it is not advised though. I'd say 13.5 would give good power and still be safe. Only F/I should be at 12.5 and lower

hes got a 04 auto.

Are the 6sp's faster then the 5sp's? i know they have an extra gear but i figure 5's would be geared better.
