Thanks for all the good replies. It was a pretty cool project. The "H" was a last minute thing my buddy thought of just to give it a little something. To late now. But i really like it. And yes we could put anything there, like the Tuscani T. The box is made to hold a 12'', and i think im going to put a W3 in it. I think the all black will keep it looking "stock".
And yes, about making more of these, my buddy and i already talked about that. We thought about using the mold before we finished it, as a negative mold and make a few of them and try and sell them. Down side is, is that it is not cheap. You can make a square box alot cheaper than this fiber glass box. Both look good, but 2 different looks. Depends on the look you are going for.

That box is sweet...

I'm in the process of making a fiber glass box as well...except mine is on the right side and it's going to hold 2 12" subs...I'm going to remove the infinity sub and replace it with a 8" pioneer sub...I'm going with a whole pioneer system in my vehicle...

 

I like the crooked H! u drive a hyundai rep it!....I really think it makes it pop!

Well i got it all installed today. Took alittle bit but, but it was well worth it. Sounds great.

Damn you guys are pros, that looks almost OEM. Even the hyundai H came out really good. I takes me about 10 times to even draw a decent one on paper. lol

So it looks awesome, but how hard will it be to replace a bulb over there?

 

probably about as hard as it is now considering you need to take out the OEM subwoofer as well when accessing that tail light.

Hey everyone thanks for all the great comments on the box. it really did turn out great.

tibby101 let me knoe about all the great replies the build has been getting. so i joined to get some more info out of what everyone would like out of these boxes



we have talked about making these boxes. just wasn't sure how instrested everyone would really be in them, for a few reason. 1. there not cheap there is about 150-200 in supplies,( i've been looking to see if I can get materials any cheaper else where). 2. there are some time tossed into these.( been lookin at a way to cut that down aswell.) 3. these boxes can be built to fit most subs 12's and under they would be able to retain the same shape and the pics you have seen. anything bigger ei. 13-15 would change the shape of the box do to mounting rings and needed air space for the subs.

The big question would be how many ppl are willing to buy these should we invest some money into making these boxes. And what price should we sell these for that would be fair but still worth the time put into them.




Building ethier side shouldn't be a problem!
